Day 3 Berlin
This morning, meet your local guide for a scenic motorcoach tour of Berlin’s iconic landmarks. Enjoy panoramic views of the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and the Philharmonic Hall, and stop for photos at the Berlin Wall, the Brandenburg Gate, and the Holocaust Memorial. Pause at a local café for coffee or tea while hearing firsthand about life in Eastern Berlin before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Around noon, continue with a walking tour through the historic Nikolai Quarters and along Unter den Linden, passing Humboldt University, the State Opera, and Babelplatz, ending at Museum Island. Depart Berlin for Prague, the “City of a Thousand Spires.” En route, make a stop in Dresden, the capital of Saxony. With a local guide, admire the city’s Baroque architecture, including the Frauenkirche, the Cathedral of Our Lady, and the Royal Palace. Enjoy some free time on your own in this lovely town on the banks of the River Elbe before continuing to Prague. This evening, participate in a traditional Czech cooking class. (B, D)

Begin your day at the world’s largest ancient castle complex, Prague Castle (UNESCO), and the haunting St. Vitus Cathedral. Home to kings and emperors, the complex at Prague Castle is one of the most important sites in the Czech Republic and is easily the highlight of the city. Continue on a walking tour through Old Town, seeing the statue-lined Charles Bridge and the unique Astronomical Clock. Learn about the poignant history passing by Prague’s Jewish Quarter. Day 6 Prague - Vienna, Austria
This morning, travel by train to Vienna, the “City of Music.” Upon arrival, enjoy a short orientation drive through the city. Then, enjoy an Impact Moment at a Viennese coffee house connecting generations, because at this café, the baked goods are lovingly prepared by local grandmothers, fostering intergenerational connection. This social enterprise aims to give local retirees a chance to engage with locals and travelers around the world. This afternoon, take part in one of Vienna’s most treasured traditions during a Viennese Waltz lesson. Day 8 Vienna - Bratislava, Slovakia - Budapest, Hungary
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the picturesque countryside en route to Budapest. Make a stop in Bratislava, Slovakia, the former Imperial capital of the Habsburg Empire. Enjoy an orientation walk with your Tour Manager and free time for lunch. Continue on to visit a true historical gem and UNESCO site, Pannonhalma, and hear about the abbey’s thousand-year history and its present life. This morning, join a local expert on a city tour featuring Fisherman's Bastion, Matthias Church, Old Buda, the New Parliament, Gellert Hill, and Heroes' Square, a unique monument dedicated to the diverse leaders of Hungary. The afternoon is yours to explore this enchanting city as you like. This evening, you may choose to take in the essence of the region during an optional dinner followed by a cruise to view Budapest’s stunning night skyline.(B)

Day 11 Budapest - Donovaly, Slovakia - Krakow, Poland
Take in the picturesque landscapes en route to Poland. Make a stop for lunch near Donovaly, a small village situated within Low Tatras National Park. Continue to Krakow, a historic city offering old-world charm and your home for the next three nights.
